Protégé PROGRAM
At RADIX, all Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) that are registered for the full workshop will be participating in the Protégé Scholarship Audition Class. Dancers must audition by their age as of January 1, 2026. ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN THEIR "AGE APPROPRIATE" ROOM FOR THE PROTÉGÉ AUDITION AS WELL AS THE PRECEDING AUDITION COMBO CLASS. During the class prior to the audition, students will learn a ballet and jazz routine. During the audition, the dancers will be broken up into groups and the RADIX artists will evaluate. Students will be chosen by the artists in each of the following age groups: Mini (8-10), Junior (11-12), Teen (13-15) and Senior (16-19). The selected students will be announced at the end of the audition. These students will be the "RADIX Protégé Finalists"! All Protégés will be called up on stage at the end of the Closing Show on Sunday afternoon and the Protégé winners and remaining finalists in each age division will be announced.
Protégé Winners will receive:
- $300 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive only)
- One RADIX Tour Scholarship, to be used at any RADIX regional workshop during the 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 season
- One Workshop Scholarship to the 2026 Nationals!
- Eligibility to compete for Elite Protégé in the 2026 Protégé Experience at Nationals.
Protégé Finalists will receive:
- $150 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive only)
- One Workshop Scholarship to the 2026 Nationals!
- Eligibility to compete for Elite Protégé in the 2026 Protégé Experience at Nationals.
SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
- All RADIX ages are determined as of January 1, 2026. For example: Ages for November 2025 events will be as of January 1, 2026, and ages for April 2026 events will be as of January 1, 2026.
- Dancers' scholarship numbers are generated for each specific age division, with all ages being as of January 1, 2026.
- Teachers may register dancers for whichever workshop level they feel the dancer will benefit from the most. However, ALL dancers MUST be in the age-appropriate room during the Protégé Audition Combo Class as well as the actual Protégé Audition. Any dancers auditioning with the wrong workshop level will not be eligible for any Protégé Scholarships.
- When a dancer wins a scholarship with one studio, they cannot utilize the scholarship as an Independent or with another studio, without the permission of the original studio owner.
- One-day students are not eligible for any scholarships.
- Independent dancers are unable to receive Protégé scholarships but are eligible for all other scholarships.
- Dancers ages 20+ are not eligible for any scholarships.
- All scholarships must be used before the expiration date printed on the scholarship voucher.
- Nationals Workshop Scholarships may be used for 2026 THE ONE Nationals ONLY.
- Scholarships are not transferable.
